Hot on the heels of Microsoft contributing a GC logs analyzer (last month's newsletter), now Apple have done it too! See the tools section below for the GCGC analyzer, and of course you can see all your options for GC logs analyzers in our GC log analysers page (also in our menu above)!

It's interesting seeing these companies contribute into the Java ecosystem. Especially when it's a GC log analyzer - the roll call of JVM GC logs analyzer contributors include Oracle, HP, IBM, Netflix, and now Microsoft and Apple (plus of course many individual contributors!). I'm not sure what it says apart from that the GC has been and is still an important target for tuning
