I extracted more than 300 tips in 2025, all listed in my newsletters. Reviewing them for tips of the year, I expected to find two or three top tips. Instead I found dozens of superb tips making it impossible to select just a few tips of the year. But I was able to select half a dozen excellent groups of tips which I can point to:

• Incredibly useful async-profiler tips from Andrei Pangin's excellent Advanced performance analysis with async-profiler
• A whole bunch of common scalability bottleneck tips from an LLM generated talk
• Some really useful tips for analyzing memory issues from Mastering JVM Memory Troubleshooting
• Superb "less is more" tips from Efficient Software
• A useful cluster of tips about MemorySegments and Arenas of the FFM API from the Memory API: Patterns, Uses Cases, and Performance talk and it's later update
